JAKARTA: The Jakarta Historical Museum, better known as the Fatahillah Museum, will hold a month-long painting exhibition on the history of the capital, featuring works by painter/sculptor Harjadi S. The exhibition starts on July 25 and ends on Aug. 25.

Noted painter Kartika Affandi is scheduled to open the event.

The museum director, Tinia Budiati, said on Friday that the exhibition was a tribute to the late Harjadi.

During the exhibition, visitors can participate in a drawing course taught by Santu Wirono, Harjadi's son, and a sculpting course taught by Emeng Bastaman. -- Antara
