Multipolar has new executives

JAKARTA (JP): Shareholders of PT Multipolar Corporation have approved the appointment of Jeffrey Koes Wonsono as the new chief commissioner of the company replacing Roy E. Tirtadji.

The annual shareholders' meeting, held early this week, also approved the appointment of Handoko Anindya Tanuadji as the company's new president.

Multipolar posted a net profit of Rp 1.1 billion in 1999, swinging from a net loss of Rp 221.2 billion the previous year.

Net revenues increased by 46 percent to Rp 239.8 billion in 1999.

The company's total debts decreased to Rp 272 billion as of end of 1999, as compared to Rp 457 billion in the same period the year before.

Multipolar is listed on the Jakarta and Surabaya Stock Exchanges. (udi)
