Mudjito elected PSASI chairman

JAKARTA (JP): Navy Western Fleet commander Rear Admiral
Mudjito was elected chairman of the Indonesian Water Skiing
Association (PSASI) in a national congress held in Sunter, North
Jakarta, on Wednesday.

A release from the association said Mudjito, who replaced Vice
Admiral Suratmin, will be assisted by M. Syamsi RT, I Wayan
Purnayasa, Tatang Sugandi and Soebagiyo.

Mudjito said his first program would be to encourage the
association's 18 provincial branches to work harder to promote
the sport. Only 10 of the branches have held regular activities
over the past two years, he said. (yan)
