Motorola, ITB hold tech contest
JAKARTA (JP): The U.S.-based mobile phone company, Motorola, in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering Student Association of the Institute of Technology Bandung will hold a nationwide competition to design applications using a microcontroller.
The company said the competition, open for technology students from Indonesian universities, is aimed at promoting the development of technology skills of Indonesian students.
Participants in the competition will be required to design commercially viable systems applications based on Motorola's benchmark microcontroller. Entries must be submitted by Aug. 31.
The company said it had recently held a similar competition for students in America for the design and construction of remote-controlled robots. (cst)
