Motorcyclist stabbed to death

TANGERANG (JP): An unidentified group of people reportedly stabbed a motorcyclist identified as Mulyadi, 25, to death on Jl. Palayangan, Cilenggang subdistrict, in Serpong here in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Lewi Dulai, 21, who was riding with Mulyadi, was severely injured in the unexpected attack and was rushed to Tangerang General Hospital for medical treatment.

A Tangerang police officer, who asked not to be named, said the group attacked Mulyadi and Lewi without any clear reason.

"They stabbed the two victims indiscriminately, then fled the scene of the crime," the officer said.

Mulyadi died of severe stab wounds to his abdomen and back. (41)
