Motor oil additive demand on the rise

JAKARTA: Demand for moto oil additive are estimated to see an
increase between 6 percent and 8 percent this year, said a
licensee and producer of Agip oil additive here PT Agip Lubrindo
Pratama (ALP).

General Manager of Agip distributor Pt Bahana Ramli Sulistyo
said demand for oil additive will reach 100 million kiloliters
and 200 million kiloliters for motorcycles, boosted by a 15
percent increase in motorcycle usage.

Therefore, to meet the increased demand, the company recently
launched some new products for cars and motorcycles.

There are two new oil additive for cars: Agip Super SL and
Agip Sigma Turbo while Agip 2T Plus and Agip 4T Supra are
intended for motorcycles.

"We are optimistic that our new products will be able to
compete in the competitive market based because of their high
quality and the ability to improve performance of various
engines," said Ramli said. -- JP
