Motocross to lure 100 riders

JAKARTA (JP): Some 100 riders are expected to enter the fifth
leg of the national motocross championship series at the Kota
Hijau Sepinggan circuit in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, this
weekend.

Steve Batchelor of Australia will be the only foreign
competitor in the race, after Scottish rider Miles Walker
withdrew due business commitments in Singapore.

The championship will feature the Special Engine and
Grasstrack categories.

After the Balikpapan leg, the championship will move to Lido
in Bogor, West Java, on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4, followed by the
Ujungpandang round in South Sulawesi a week later. (lnt)
