More scholarships from Sampoerna

JAKARTA: The Sampoerna Foundation and the British Council on Friday signed an agreement to provide scholarships for two Indonesians to pursue master's degrees in business administration in the United Kingdom next year.

The program focuses on the fields of business and management, with full scholarships being granted to provide the selected participants with necessary funds to cover the cost of university registration, tuition, living expenses, purchase of books and other academic needs. All these expenses will be covered through until the completion of studies.

Registration for the program will begin in January 2005.

The foundation had earlier offered scholarship programs for master's degree study at leading universities in the United States, Australia and France. -- JP
