More on Satelindo service

I refer to the letter by Mr. Amir Sidharta regarding the poor service of Satelindo which appeared in this column on Oct. 11. I fully agree with Mr. Amir on this point. Particularly over the last six months, Satelindo's service has deteriorated completely. I live in Citereup and have been a Satelindo subscriber for the last several years (right from the day of its inception).

For the last week there has only been blank spots, and only when I cross Cibubur do I get a signal. When I contacted Satelindo's customer service office they simply said they are having some problems that are being attended to. This happens quite regularly and never has Satelindo made the effort to inform subscribers by way of an announcement in the newspaper that they are having a problem and it will take some time to rectify.

As mentioned by Mr. Amir, since we have used Satelindo for a long time it is difficult for us to change to another service provider overnight.

My sincere request to Satelindo is that they should not get carried away and start ignoring customers, which will definitely have a negative impact on them in the future, especially when this industry has become very competitive.

Satelindo, please wake up before it is too late.
