More ministers declare assets
JAKARTA: As of Wednesday, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has received wealth declarations from 11 of the 34 Cabinet members.
Information and communications minister Sofyan Djalil and finance minister Yusuf Anwar are the latest ministers to submit their wealth reports,
Sofyan refused to disclose his total assets, but said he owned two houses, three cars, and "a few lots of shares" in a number of companies, including mining firm Bumi Resources, the Bakrie Brothers holding company, plantation firm London Sumatra, automaker PT Astra International and state mining firm PT Timah. He also said he had dollar and rupiah-denominated deposits, and a share in a consultancy firm.
Yusuf declined to detail his assets. -- JP
