More Buyat residents to come to Jakarta

JAKARTA: Three non-governmental organizations (NGOs) will take
seven more residents from Buyat Bay, Minahasa in North Sulawesi,
to Jakarta, to show the government that the people there are
suffering from a serious disease.

The Jakarta-based Legal Aid for Health (LBH Kesehatan),
Manado-based Voice of Conscience Foundation, and Women's
Supporter Foundation will work together to gather money to bring
residents to Jakarta, who suffer more acute disease than the
previous 15 victims who were brought here.

"We will bring them to Jakarta on Tuesday to undergo a health
test. We plan to bring at least 50 people here," said Iskandar
Sitorus of LBH Kesehatan. -- Antara
