Mobile toilets for riverbank squatters

TANGERANG: The Tangerang municipal administration will replace
the floating toilets built by squatters along the Cisadane
riverbanks with mobile toilets.

"The quality of river water is declining due to both household
and industrial waste being dumped into the river," spokesman
Undang Herman said on Thursday.

He said the administration had ordered 11 mobile toilets.

"But I doubt the residents will use the new toilets because
they are accustomed to the traditional floating toilets," Undang
