Mixed cocktail kills three

WONOSOBO, Central Java: Hoping to get high sooner three local people mixed their alcoholic drinks with paint thinner, and died.

Suharyono, 42, was an alcohol vendor in the village of Manglongsari, Wonosobo regency. His neighbors, Agus Darminto, 28, and Sumpeno, 39, came Sunday to his small shop to buy beer and asked him to join them for a drink.

The three decided to mix their drinks with house paint thinner. After writhing in pain for several minutes, Suharyono died at home, while the other two died in hospital. (wah/swe)
