Missing teenager found dead

BOGOR (JP): A 16-year-old resident of Kedaung village, Depok, was found dead in a gutter near his home on Wednesday after having been missing for two days.

Apit, an ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver, was found dead with severe head wounds by local resident Udin.

Udin, who works for a public cemetery in the vicinity, then reported to Jainuri soon after finding Apit's remains.

Quoting Udin, Jainuri said that Apit's body was covered with garbage at the time when Udin first noticed it.

Sawangan Police have concluded that the motive for the killing was robbery, judging from the fact that the victim's motorcycle was missing.

Jainuri said that he had reported Apit's disappearance to the police on Monday. (21/sur)
