Missing motorists found dead

AMBON, Maluku: The remains of two men who have been missing
since a mob attacked motorists in the Batu Merah area here on
Thursday were found on Saturday.

The body of Yan Watimenna was found floating in the water just
off Tantui in Teluk Ambon Baguala, while Yusuf Anakotapari was
found dead at a beach in Nusaniwe district, some three kilometers
away from where the first victim was found.

"Their bodies bore wounds from blunt objects," said chief of
Ambon and Lease Island Police Adj. Chief Comr. Hasanuddin.

The two were riding on a motorcycle on Thursday when they were
attacked by a mob.

Police are still investigating the case.(49/edt)
