Ministry demands repeal of bylaws

JAKARTA: The Ministry of Finance has asked the Ministry of Home
Affairs to repeal 369 bylaws issued by regional governments
nationwide on taxes.

In a statement, the ministry said the 369 bylaws violated
regulations issued by the central government.

The ministry said the bylaws hampered the movement of goods
and services across the archipelago, creating a high cost
