Minister, mayor start clean sea campaign

JAKARTA: Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Freddy
Numberi and North Jakarta Mayor Effendi Anas kicked off a
national clean sea and beach campaign at Kalibaru, Cilincing
district, North Jakarta, on Sunday.

Anas was quoted by beritajakarta.com as saying the campaign
would also spread information to fishermen and coastal dwellers
about the importance of education and health.

During the event on Sunday, an official from the municipality
health office presented medicine to a group of fishermen. -- JP
