Mining directory launched

JAKARTA (JP): Publishing company Gold Group Asia/Pacific Ltd
and partners have published a directory on the country's mineral
exploration and mining companies.

PT Citra Buana Masindo, one of Gold Group's partners in
publishing the Indonesian Minerals Exploration and Mining
Directory 1999/2000, said the book contained data on operating
mines, foreign exploration projects, mining license holders in
the country, collected in three years of research.

"The book... is a comprehensive and accurate 'snapshot' of an
industry in a consolidation phase," the statement said.

The book and the CD-ROM version costs US$740, the statement
said.

Gold Group and Citra Buana published the directory in
cooperation with the Asian Journal of Mining, the Ministry of
Mines and Energy and the Australian Trade Commission in Jakarta.
