Militant Islamic group

If I'm not mistaken, it was another Islamic militant group who
staged a demonstration in front of Merdeka Palace last month. The
Jakarta Post has referred to the wrong group on its front page
on May 2, 2000 titled Gus Dur slams abuse of religion by certain
groups.

The Post should clarify this matter to the public and continue
to report their threatening activities as these two groups have
disrupted the public peace by their actions.

I strongly urge the Police to confiscate their weapons and ban
them. There are plenty of libraries in this country where these
youths can visit and broaden their narrow-minded thinking instead
of campaigning for a jihad. Intruding into other people's affairs
is not the way to gain respect.
