Mild quake hits Bali
DENPASAR, Bali: The island of Bali was shaken by a mild earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale yesterday morning.
"The quake surprised and frightened residents, but it really wasn't dangerous," Sridadi Budihardjo, an official at the Meterology and Geophysics Agency, said.
Antara reported the epicenter of the quake was on the sea floor some 29 km South of Denpasar.
The Agency has not received any reports of material damage caused by the earthquake.
