'Michael Learns' at Hard Rock Hotel
Michael Learns To Rock, the world-famous Danish rock band, will perform live at Sand Island, Hard Rock Hotel Bali, on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at 7p.m.
The group has achieved more than 8 million music recording sales since its professional debut in 1991.
Michael Learns To Rock began as a group of high school chums in Aarchus, Denmark, in 1987. Keyboard player Jascha Richter, the "old man" of the group at 42, originally brought the band's members together.
Drummer Kare Wanscher and guitarist Mikkel Lentz complete the dynamic trio, whose music and vocals complete a repertoire known for its tight vocal harmonies and easily discernible lyrics.
They have consistently produced hit albums and sold out tours for their main following in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
A proportion of the funds raised by this concert will be channeled to Aceh and North Sumatra tsunami relief projects.
Tickets are on sale at Rp 200,000 each and can be purchased at Hard Rock Hotel Bali.
