Metro Mini needs reorganization

Aip Sjarifuddin, the head of Land Transportation Company (Organda) Organization says that the management of PT Metro Mini, the biggest private land transportation in Jakarta, should be reorganized.

He said that the operation of Metro Mini busses should not be handled by their individual owners but should be managed by the company itself.

He also said that his proposal will enable the drivers to receive a regular income from the company and they will not be burdened by some problems, such as paying daily rental to the bus owners.

Aip said that the plan is expected to prevent some nagging problems, like strikes, since the company will have a firm control over its employees. (03)
