Merpati reopens routes

JAKARTA (JP): Merpati Nusantara Airline announced on Tuesday
it would reopen its routes linking Jakarta to Medan, North
Sumatera, and to Pakanbaru, Riau, starting Wednesday.

The company said the reopening of the routes was in
anticipation of a growing number of passengers with the early
signs of economic recovery.

The airline will serve those destinations daily, using a 98-
seat Fokker 100. It is offering special fares for both routes
during the promotional month. (06)
