Merpati moves to Terminal IIF
JAKARTA: Starting Sept. 1, state-owned Merpati Nusantara Airlines has moved its operation from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport's Terminal IA to Terminal IIF, to join national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia.
Merpati said the move was to improve its service as well as its efficiency. Both airlines will have joint ticket counters.
To avoid any inconvenience to passengers, Merpati is providing shuttle buses between Terminal IA and Terminal IIF and has distributed flyers about the change to travel agencies, Merpati ticketing offices and airport toll gates. Customers who want more information, customers should contact Merpati's call center at 021-6546789.
The airline also plan to provide special services for customers on Sept. 6, its 43rd anniversary. -- JP
