Mentari Satelindo

As Mentari Satelindo subscriber, I am experiencing difficulty in the limited availability of Mentari cards.

Of late it has been very hard to obtain Rp 100,000 cards to refill my account, even at official outlets. They only have Rp 250,000 cards and up. A Satelindo customer service representative informed me that apart from the outlets, a customer can refill their account through their Bank Central Asia ATM, as if all Mentari users are BCA customers.

My choice is thus limited. First, to buy a voucher worth Rp 250,000 or more exceeds my budget and disturbs my cash flow. Second, I feel that having to open an account with BCA in order to enable me to refill my account at Rp 100,000 is an imposition.

If the second alternative is meant to step up the facilities of service to subscribers, I readily agree. But it must not mean that Rp 100,000 cards disappear from circulation.

1. If the Rp 100,000 cards are still sold through outlets, how does Satelindo control their availability? If it is only a problem of supply and demand, couldn't Satelindo anticipate it by assessing the demand at each outlet?

2. What is the official price of the Mentari prime package?
