Memorial service for Diana

JAKARTA (JP): The British Embassy's memorial service for Diana, Princess of Wales, will be at 11 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church on Jl. A.R. Hakim No. 5, Central Jakarta, on Saturday.

A spokesman said the embassy was expecting up to 2,000 people to attend the service. The church seats only 200 but speakers will be set up to relay proceedings to those who cannot fit inside.

Almost 3,000 people signed the condolence book at the embassy yesterday, he said. About 900 signed it Tuesday. (hhr)
