Megawati to attend Tehran summit

JAKARTA: President Megawati Soekarnoputri will attend the
Summit of Eight Developing Nations in Tehran next month, Minister
of Foreign Affairs Hassan Wirayuda said on Wednesday.

"The President has decided to attend the summit in Iran,"
Hassan said after accompanying Megawati during a meeting with
Iranian special envoy Adeli at the State Palace.

The summit will be held in Tehran from Feb. 17 through Feb.
18.

However, he said, Megawati had yet to decide whether or not to
attend the G-15 Summit in Venezuela on Feb. 27 through Feb. 28.
