Megawati prays for RI contingent

JAKARTA: President Megawati Soekarnoputri sent a message on Tuesday to the Indonesian contingent in the 14th Asian Games in Busan, South Korea.

In the message, the President said that she along with the whole nation were praying for the success of the Indonesian team to win as many medals as possible.

"From here, I and the whole nation pray for the success of the team in the Asian games," she said as quoted by the presidential secretariat on Tuesday.

Megawati said she expected the team to bring back at least 15 gold medals from the sports event, a target that many consider unrealistic.--JP
