Mega cancels visit to Central Sulawesi

PALU, Central Sulawesi: President Megawati Soekarnoputri will
postpone her planned visit to Central Sulawesi province
indefinitely, a senior government official said on Monday.

Rully Arifudin Lamadjido, a senior official at the Central
Sulawesi provincial administration, said the President was busy
with state affairs in Jakarta.

Megawati, who is seeking reelection this year, was to have
inaugurated several projects in the province worth billions of
rupiah on May 15. -- Antara
