McKinsey opens office
JAKARTA (JP): McKinsey & Company, a U.S.-based international consulting firm, has opened its first Southeast Asian office in the Midplaza II building, the company announced yesterday.
"Indonesia was one of the few large economies that we did not yet serve out of a local established presence. We felt it was imperative to set up an office in Jakarta, even more so than in other places such as Malaysia and Singapore," the Jakarta office's managing director, Carel Paauwee, said in a statement.
McKinsey, which has more than 62 offices in 31 countries with over 3,000 consultants, concentrates its consulting skills on matters of concerns to chief executives and boards of directors in various companies. (04)
