McDonald's double cheeseburger
Being quite a regular and loyal customer of McDonald's drive- thru section, on the night of Dec. 11, 1996, I came to the McDonald's drive-thru at Pondok Indah (Dwima Area) and ordered my own usual dinner: one double cheeseburger, two orders of french fries and one iced lemon tea. After paying, I drove to another counter to pick up my order. A few minutes later, a waiter gave me one large plastic bag with the iced lemon tea aside and said: "Here is your order, Mbak. Enjoy your meal and good night!" I was touched to hear the courtesy in his voice and happily replied "Thank you."
However, my happiness was ruined because when I got home and wanted to enjoy my meal, I could not find my double cheeseburger. I was so frustrated because I could not call the outlet (since I do not have the number) and I could not go back there, because it was already late and quite far.
Frankly speaking, it was not the first time I received the wrong meal. A couple of weeks ago, I used the same service at the McDonald's at Melawai. That time, however, I managed to call the outlet and talk to the manager in charge. I inquired why this had happened, and I could still remember exactly what the manager suggested to me: "Madam, the next time, you should double check before you leave." Thank you for the advice, but that was not the point.
Could the management at McDonald's please give me an explanation regarding this matter?
