Master tournament takes place

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Chess Association (Percasi) will
hold the Enerpac Master Tournament to commemorate the body's 50th
anniversary.

Percasi secretary general Djamil Djamal said in a release
Sunday that 50 masters from 26 provinces including veterans would
join the event.

Among the veterans are the 1964 champion National Master (MN)
Ong Yok Hoa, the 1962 runner up MN Lim Hong Gie, the 1975
champion Grand Master (GM) Herman Suradiraja, the 1972 champion
MN Jacobus Sampouw and seven national champions GM Ardiansyah.

The Rp 19.4 million (US$2,340) tournament will take place at
the Utut Adianto Chess School in Bekasi from Sept. 6 to Sept. 17.
