Mar'ie swears in new finance officials
JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Finance Mar'ie Muhammad yesterday swore in several new government customs and excise directors and state-owned enterprise directorate officials.
The newly installed second-echelon officials in the Directorate General of Customs and Excise included R.B. Permana Agung Daradjatun as income planning director, Roy Ronald Lino as customs techniques director, Irwan Ridwan as customs facilities director, Muhammad Wahyu Purnomo as verifications and auditing director and Frans Rupang as international customs director.
The directorates are newly-created portfolios stemming from the 1995 Customs Law implemented in April 1997.
Other officials at the customs and excise office installed yesterday were Faried Sibly Barchia as excise director, Erlangga Mantik as head of the customs and excise central data and information office and Djoko Oembaran Soeryono as customs and excise inspector.
Presidential Decree No. 23/1997, dated June 13, changed the structure and names of the directorates at the Directorate General of State-Owned Enterprises.
The new system restructured the organization into State-Owned Enterprise Development Directorates I, II, III and IV.
The decree also created a new office, the Privatization Directorate.
The newly installed heads for the directorates included Harry Susetyo Nugroho for directorate I, Djaludin Pandjaitan for directorate II, Effendi for directorate III, Karyono for directorate IV and Mahmuddin Yasin for the Privatization Directorate.
Other officials installed yesterday were Agus Soediono Kuntjoro as secretary to the director general of state-owned enterprises and I Ketut Mardjana as director of information, development and rules of state-owned enterprises.
Mar'ie also installed Salim Basalamah as operational director at Perum Pengembangan Koperasi, a company tasked to develop cooperatives. (rid)
