Manpower office to hold job fair

SURABAYA, East Java: With high unemployment rates in East Java, the provincial manpower office will hold a job fair on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, a senior official said on Thursday.

The annual job fair will offer participants 1,259 job vacancies, said Rahayu, an official at the East Java Manpower Office.

The job fair this year will be participated in by at least 34 companies operating in East Java, ranging from hotels to electronics manufacturers, Rahayu said. -- Antara
