Manado resident reports Pertamina

MANADO, North Sulawesi: Theo Gerungan, 52, has reported state oil and gas company PT Pertamina to the police for allegedly occupying his land illegally since 1968.

The disputed 13,500 square-meter plot is located in Bitung, 37 kilometers north of provincial capital Manado.

A Bitung Police officer confirmed on Wednesday that the report against Pertamina had been filed on April 24 and was being investigated. -- JP
