Man, this must hurt pretty bad

PENANG, Malaysia: A 34-year-old temple caretaker was admitted to a private hospital after his testicles were squeezed by a woman whom he had earlier slapped during a quarrel.

The caretaker was selling fireworks by the roadside before the Chinese New Year when two women approached him about 8.30 p.m. on Feb. 13. The women, in their late 30s, had come to see the man to collect a debt. They began to harass him and he asked them to return a few days later to talk things over but they refused.

There was a quarrel that led to one of the women being slapped on the face. She then retaliated by grabbing him by the testicles and violently squeezing them. The man who fell to the ground in pain later made his way to a nearby hospital where a medical check-up showed that his testicles had become swollen and badly bruised. He was admitted overnight for observation.

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Syed Ismail Syed Azizan said the victim only made a police report on March 3, adding that the women had since been identified and would be called up to record their statements soon.

He said police were investigating the case for voluntarily causing hurt under Section 323 of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of up to a year, a RM2,000 (US$626) fine, or both, upon conviction. -- The Star/Asia News Network
