Man nabbed, 1 kg of 'ganja' seized

BOGOR: The police arrested a middleman and seized one kilogram of (ganja) marijuana from the suspect on Thursday night, but failed to nab the dealer.

Jamal Bin Arsyad, 33, a resident of Bojong Gede district, was arrested on Jl. Gunung Batu by two policemen who posed as a buyer, according to Bogor Police chief Adj. Snr. Comr. Setyo Wasisto.

The dealer, identified as Opung, however, is at large.

Before the arrest, the two policemen met Jamal at his house, telling him that they wanted to buy drugs. Jamal then took them to dealer Opung, who lived on Jl. Gunung Batu. Jamal then entered Opung's house while the two policemen were told to wait outside. When Jamal returned with a kilogram of marijuana, he was immediately arrested. Opung, however, managed to escape.--JP
