Man murdered in his home
JAKARTA (JP): Sixty-two-year-old Andi Sardi, a resident of Griya Kencana, Ciledug, South Jakarta, was murdered by two acquaintances who came to his home at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Andi's acquaintances, identified as 22-year-old Sugianto of Kalideres and 25-year-old Soedoyo of Tamansari, both of West Jakarta, are now being detained at the South Jakarta Police station for the violent murder of Andi.
"Both Soedoyo and Sugianto say they had work problems with Andi, but it does not make sense. Andi is 62. The boys are teenagers in comparison," City police spokesman Lt. Col. Zainuri Lubis said.
"The two men stabbed Sardi violently in the heart six times and tried to run off with Rp 2.85 million," he said.
