Man kills his business partner

BOGOR (JP): Edi, a resident of Rabak subdistrict, stabbed his business colleague Aliyudin, 35, to death on Saturday night, after being dissatisfied with the victim's manner of distributing profits from their joint used-wheel business.

A witness said it was 6:30 p.m. when Edi, 30, accidentally met Aliyudin when they were passing a street nearby the latter's house.

Suddenly, both the individuals became locked into a fierce argument with each other, which later turned into a fight, said a witness.

"As he was cornered, Edi took out his knife from his pocket and stabbed Aliyudin in both his right and left chest," said Dudung, 32.

After the bload-soaked victim fell to the ground, the suspect escaped the scene, added Dudung.

The victim was rushed to the Bogor Red Cross Hospital, but died sometime later after receiving first aid treatment.

The incident was reported by Dudung to the Rumpin police subprecinct. Hours after the incident, police personnel managed to arrest the suspect without any major restraint.

The motive of the incident is still unclear, as the suspect is currently being questioned by police. However, Dudung said that the suspect was likely to have been dissatisfied with Aliyudin over the latter's alleged unfair business practices. (21/asa)
