Man found dead in transvestite's house

BOGOR (JP): An elderly man was found dead with his mouth foaming in his transvestite lover's house in Cimandala village, Sukaraja district, Monday evening.

Local residents identified the deceased as M. Oteh Prayahya, 71, and the house owner as Ira Maria, 29, who is a local hairdresser.

A neighbor, who refused to be identified, said that the couple had known each other for almost a year.

Ira, who was hiding at a friend's house, is now under police custody.

According to the residents, Oteh was seen entering Ira's house at about 1 p.m. and never left until the residents found him dead on Ira's bed.

Oteh's body was rushed to the PMI Hospital for a postmortem examination, but his relatives reportedly refused the examination and hastily took the body to Jakarta for burial. (24/jun)
