Man falls to death from coconut tree

JAKARTA (JP): A street vendor fell to death from a five-meter- tall coconut tree while trying to hang a bird cage there on Monday.

An eyewitness said that Suyoto, 36, was about to move a bamboo pole, which is used to raise a bird cage, from the coconut tree when he suddenly fell down.

"He insisted on climb, saying that everything would be all right," a neighbor said.

The neighbors took him to hospital but he died on the way. (05)
