Man charged in spanking probe

DEER PARK, New York (Reuters): A suburban New York man was charged with harassment after he allegedly asked a series of women to join him in spanking sessions, police said.

Robert William Pawelko, 40, of Deer Park, New York, would either telephone his victims or arrive at their houses, said Suffolk County detective Aristedes Mohica.

Calling himself "Bad Bad Bill," Pawelko asked to spank them, offered to pay them to spank him or suggested that he dress up in women's clothes, Mohica said.

Pawelko was nabbed when he called a woman, hung up and then called her back while a female police officer was in the victim's home taking her complaint, Mohica said.
