Man arrested with bomb manual

TRIESTE, Italy (AFP): A North African man was arrested with false papers and a manual on how to make bombs and booby-trap cars, judicial sources reported yesterday.

The manual, written in Arabic but in code, contained details of the chemical formulas of explosives and advice on placing explosives or booby-trapping cars, the sources said.

The unidentified man, possibly Algerian, told police he was to have handed the manual to a man whose name he did not know at Milan railway station, they added.
