Male corpse found with letter

JAKARTA (JP): The corpse of a young man was found lying in the
sewage-filled gutters of Jl. H. Banan in Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran
Lama, South Jakarta, early Sunday morning.

The man, in his 20s, allegedly died of deep gashes in his head
and neck, Kebayoran Lama police chief of detectives and
intelligence said on Sunday.

"A letter was found in one of his pockets. The letter was
signed by Aria Nugraha... it was a letter from the young man to
his mother, asking for a loan of Rp 1 million (US$100)," Ayep
told The Jakarta Post on Sunday.

"We are assuming for now, that this man is Aria Nugraha. There
is no address on the letter... so we'll have to wait for someone
to claim his body at Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital morgue."

Ayep added that the body was found by a security guard of the
nearby Harapan Bunda School in Kebayoran Lama at about 3 a.m.
