Maintenance meets standard

JAKARTA (JP): The Garuda Maintenance Facility, the maintenance
unit of the national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia, has received
a certificate of approval from the Air Force (AURI).

The company said Saturday that the certificate formally
acknowledged the facility's maintenance capability in meeting the
Air Force's quality standards for the inspection and maintenance
of auxiliary power units of its aircraft.

The maintenance center earlier received similar approval for
the inspection and maintenance on certain parts of airplane
engines.(hen)
