M-Web launches new channels

JAKARTA (JP): M-Web, one of Indonesia's leading internet providers, has launched two new channels-- M-Web Travel and M-Web Finance-- designed to provide users with important information for each sector, including breaking news, new products and interative services.

M-Web's chief executive officer Stephen Gilmour said here on Thursday that in addition to the comprehensive database of easy- to-find information, there is also online booking for hotels and transportation, and daily articles about exciting destinations and about almost everything else a traveler needs to know.

Gilmour added that the M-Web Finance provides up to the minute breaking news on government, listed companies, economic issues, currency and trade news.

M-Web's sales and marketing director David Burke said the launch of the new channels would further enhance the leading position of www.mweb.co.id as one of Indonesia's top portals.

M-Web Indonesia currently operates seven portals.
