Lost and found, one laptop

When we were about to leave Japan after having stayed there for a week, we experienced a tense episode at Tokyo's Narita International Airport. While queuing at the immigration section, my friend suddenly became aware that he didn't have his laptop with him. He was wondering where he might have left it since checking out from the New Otani Hotel in Makuhari. He was in a great panic.

Since there was still one hour left before boarding time, my friend, together with my husband, tried his best to find the laptop before leaving Japan. My husband called the hotel to check whether the computer had been left in the room or in the restaurant. Unfortunately the hotel staff didn't find it. Probably the computer had been left in the airport bus. Then my husband and my friend went directly to the Garuda Indonesia counter to ask for help.

After explaining everything, the Garuda staff suggested to check the bus first. The bus had already gone to another terminal. The only thing we could do was ask the JAL staff in that terminal to check the bus. Finally, good news came, the computer had been found in the airport bus. We had not much time left to wait for the arrival of the computer.

Finally our boarding time arrived. Still greatly puzzled, my husband waited patiently at the boarding section. Suddenly, a Japanese man who was a JAL staffer rushed into the boarding section carrying my friend's personal computer. It was just like a miracle.

I would like to express my high appreciation and sincere gratitude to the JAL and Garuda staff members in Japan for their excellent help and great effort. Keep up the good work!
