Live is the price of a hen

LAHAT, South Sumatra: A man accused of stealing hens was
beaten to death by an angry mob after he was allegedly caught in
the act in a village here.

The man, identified by Antara as 27-year-old Asia, was killed
when an entire neighborhood, alerted by screams from the hens'
owner, caught him and beat him to death.

The incident occurred at the SP 6 UPT Palembaja village.

Local police said they would prosecute those responsible for
Asia's death. (05)
