Lippobank helps flood victims

JAKARTA (JP): Lippobank will hold community outreach programs
throughout Indonesia starting from Dec. 21 to Dec. 23 to
celebrate Christmas, Idul Fitri and New Year.

The bank said the programs would be held in several provinces,
especially in areas recently hit by floods and landslides, such
as Central Java, North Sumatra, West Sumatra and North Sulawesi.

"These areas will receive building material to repair public
facilities, such as schools, mosques and irrigation," the bank
said in a statement.

The programs will be also held in other areas to rebuild and
repair several orphanages and nursing homes for the elderly in
Tangerang, Bogor, Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon and several other
towns in Java.
