Lippo Hospital being built
JAKARTA (JP): Former coordinating minister for economy, finance and industry Radius Prawiro in his capacity as the chief commissioner of PT Nusa Medika Perkasa (NMP) has inaugurated the construction of a medical training center called the Siloam Gleneagles Hospital in Lippo City, Tangerang.
The medical center is being built under the financial sponsorship of Yayasan Trisakti, Gleneagles Hospital based in Singapore, Mitra Keluarga Hospital, PT Lippo City Development and the families of Ibrahim Risyad, Anthony Salim, The Nien King, and Ferry Sonneville
When completed the hospital, which stands on two hectares of land, will have 10 floors and 500 beds, Dr. Zakiah Risjad, the NMP director, said.
According to Radius, the planning and training facilities of the hospitals are comparable to hospitals in developed countries. (bas)
